EAST TACKLES CANCER EVENT
A Tradition of Hope and Honor

Since its heartfelt beginning in 2012, the Appleton East Tackles Cancer Game and Event has stood as a powerful symbol of community, remembrance, and resilience. What started as a way for the football program to give back—recognizing the time, energy, and unwavering support from families, friends, and fans—has grown into something far greater.

This annual event was created not only to express gratitude but to honor the lives of former players, coaches, and loved ones lost to cancer. It’s a moment where the community gathers to celebrate survivors, remember those we've lost, and stand united in the fight against this devastating disease.

One of the most moving parts of the evening is the Survivors Walk—a deeply emotional tribute that resonates with anyone who has faced cancer personally or supported someone who has. It’s a reminder of the strength within our community and the hope that carries us forward.

Thanks to the overwhelming support and impact of the inaugural event, Tackles Cancer has become a cherished tradition. Each year brings new stories, new faces, and the same unwavering spirit. It’s more than a game—it’s a rallying cry for awareness, fundraising, and togetherness.

Every year, this event inspires. Every year, it’s unforgettable.

Join the Fight. Make a Difference.

Whether you're a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, your contribution matters. Help us honor survivors, support families, and fund critical cancer research. Together, we tackle cancer—with hope, heart, and community.
